Required Volunteer Training
Thank you for volunteering your time and talent to inspire our children to succeed! Before volunteering, all volunteers are required to submit a background check and attend Diocesean-approved Safe Environment Training. This background check and training must be renewed every five years. Please visit the Safe Environment page for more information and a current training schedule.
We Need YOU!
The St. Thomas More HSA is an organization comprised of STM parents, teachers and friends (alumni, grandparents, aunts/uncles). The Home & School Association encourages and coordinates parental involvement to enrich school programs; maintain and improve the social environment among students, parents and teachers; and raise funds to support the St. Thomas More School, students and enrichment and extra-curricular programs.
Parent (and other interested individuals) volunteers are needed throughout the year. Some volunteer opportunities occur on a regular basis throughout the year, while numerous other opportunities need exist on an occasional basis. All volunteers must complete the Diocesan required Safe Environment Training and background check. The required training is provided each fall with the beginning of school, and must be completed every five (5) years. We encourage you to complete this training as soon as your child begins at St. Thomas More School.
There are plenty of opportunities to fit each parent's individual talents, interests and time available. Information on this page will change throughout the year as new opportunities to be involved emerge, so check back often to get involved with your child's school!
