The stmhsa-general group is a moderated group and messages require approval before the post is delivered to the group. Here are some instruction for managers of the stmhsa-general group.
Basics
Group managers for the general announcements group have the same responsiblities/requirements as other group managers.
Message Approval Process
Please abide by the guidelines and process for General Announcements Approval.
Message Approval Instructions
When a message is received for approval, the group moderators will receive a notification email message that looks like the following:
Google Groups: Message Pending
A message has been sent to the stmhsa-test group and is awaiting approval. We've attached this message for your review.
This message requires approval because the group is moderated.
You can approve or reject this message online at:
http://groups.google.com/group/stmhsa-test/pendmsg?hl=en
or
You can approve this message by replying to this email.

Click on the link in the email, login with your email address and password, and you will be taken to the Management tasks section of the google groups web page for the general group to the Review Pending Messages tab. Click on the message subject link to view the message. Select “Post” to approve the message, or “Remove” to deny the message and then click “Moderate messages”
Alternate Message Approval Instructions
As the message instructions point out, in theory at least you can approve messages by replying to the email. Sometimes, however, using this method results in the message not being sent to the approver for some reason so the preferred method is to click on the link in the message.
You may also directly access the “Management tasks” section of the google groups web page for the general group by following these steps:
Login to your Google Groups account and click on the group name in the "My Groups" box. This will take you to your groups home page. Click on the “Management tasks” link in the pane on the right hand side.
