Dear STM School Families:

Welcome to the 2010-2011 St. Thomas More School year! What an exciting year that lies ahead for all of us! The St. Thomas More Home and School Association (HSA) is an organization comprised of STM parents, teachers and those who care about the ongoing growth, improvement, and success of the school. 

So where do you start? Volunteer!! Read through the HSA 2010-2011 Parent Guide which includes descriptions of our committees and a list of volunteer opportunities. Think about how much time you have to offer as a volunteer and what type of activity you would like to do. Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, meet your child’s classmates, and get to know the school staff. 

Second, do you still have questions about HSA or getting involved? Do not hesitate to call a member of this board with your questions.

Third, look over the calendar of events and important dates and mark these down on your personal calendar. You won’t want to miss the social events that are scheduled. 

Once again, welcome to a new and exciting school year at STM!

The Spirit & Middle School T-shirts are Here!

HSA is proud to unveil two new t-shirts for this year!  The Spirit t-shirt is available to all students, faculty, parents and alumni of the school. There is also a special Middle School t-shirt available for those students.  These t-shirts are not approved for PE days, but may be worn on Dress Down Days and to other school events, like athletic games!

School-wide Spirit T-shirts

All students, faculty, families and alumni are encouraged to show their school spirit with one of the new spirit t-shirts!  These shirts may not be worn for PE, but can be worn for Dress Down Day and to athletic events and just around town!  Spirit shirt orders are due by September 7...don't wait, get yours today!

Middle School T-shirts

Middle School students may now sport their very own t-shirt!  There will be ONE middle school t-shirt order this year.  All orders are due on Monday, August 30.  In order for the t-shirts to be produced in time for the Knight Fest retreat, no late orders can be accepted.

HSA committees are divided into one of three functional areas: Enrichment, Environment and Endowment.  While our mission is not centered on raising money (endowment), we do recognize that without endowment we could not support our endeavors in the areas of enrichment and environment.
